Getting involved with YAD is an exciting way to meet other young adults who share your values and interests. YAD, along with Shalom Pittsburgh, the outreach and engagement arm of YAD, offers social, community service, cultural and educational events, as well as leadership development and travel opportunities.
Want to find out what YAD has to offer you?
Welcome to Shalom Pittsburgh! Whether you are new to the city or just interested in connecting or reconnecting to other Jewish Young Adults, I’m here to help. The best part of my job is meeting new people and watching our already incredible community grow and progress. As a lifelong Pittsburgher I’m excited to share my knowledge and passion for the city with others. I attended Allderdice High School in the heart of Squirrel Hill (yes with Wiz Khalifa), did my undergrad at the University of Pittsburgh and got my JD/MBA from Duquesne. After practicing law for a brief period of time I decided to trade in my late nights writing memos for planning and hosting late night parties like Vodka Latke, and I’ve never looked back!
As a new young adult here in Pittsburgh, I am excited to get to know the community and other young adults.
Originally from the Boston area, I am loving living in Pittsburgh and can’t wait to explore more restaurants, shops, and nature. I did my undergrad at UMass Amherst, worked at Clark University Hillel, and most recently lived in Jerusalem while getting my Master’s in Nonprofit Management at Hebrew University. I love to travel near and far in my free time and am looking forward to learning about what Pittsburgh and the surrounding area has to offer. I’m passionate about community building and finding ways for our Shalom Pittsburgh team to best serve Jews in the city.
