Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh

Let's Get the MOMentum Going!

We are SO excited to welcome you to formally register for the JWRP MOMentum Year-Long Journey! As part of the registration process, you will need to fill out the various forms sent to you by JWRP and also agree to the terms laid out below by checking the appropriate “accept” boxes below and finally signing your name electronically.

Due to the number of people we have had to turn away from this year’s JWRP MOMentum Year-Long Journey, we want to ensure that the thirteen (13) individuals selected to participate are committed to this program from start to finish including the pre-trip programming, the Israel trip, and the 12 monthly post-trip programs.

This trip is highly subsidized by JWRP and by Classrooms Without Borders (CWB) and the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh (JFGP). The costs each participant is responsible for include a $99 non-refundable application fee, a $500 refundable deposit (see more info below), $75 in gratuities for the guides/bus drivers during the trip, roundtrip airfare to/from Tel Aviv, and some meals while in traveling to/from/in Israel. Because CWB/JFGP has to pay for each participant up front at the time of their acceptance to the program, CWB/JFGP will lose $750 beyond the $500 JWRP will lose in the case of a cancellation within 60 days of travel. Therefore, if CWB/JFGP is unable to fill the spot with an alternate participant, the cancelling person will be responsible for paying an additional $750 cancellation fee payable to Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh by October 1, 2019. More details are noted below in addition to other mandatory waivers that must be completed by all of those accepted to the JWRP MOMentum Year-Long Journey.

Women who complete this form in addition to those forms sent directly by JWRP within seven (7) days from their date of acceptance will be considered officially registered for the JWRP MOMentum Year-Long Journey. Any woman who fails to complete one of more of these forms in the 7-day period will be considered ineligible for the trip for 2019 and their space will be given to the next person on the waitlist.

Check here if you fully understand the terms of your agreement to participate in the JWRP MOMentum Year-Long Journey beginning with, and not limited to, fully completing the registration process as outlined above.

Cancellation Policy

There is a $500 deposit per person due to JWRP at the time of application.
