What Brings Me to OneTable?
To me, Shabbat is all about connecting with people. Whether it’s with family, new friends, or old friends, Shabbat allows me to take the time to truly be in the moment, make connections, and enjoy being with other people. Eating amazing food is an appreciated bonus, but being with my family and friends allows me to decompress, laugh a LOT and focus on my gratitude.
OneTable helps Millennials host and attend unique Shabbat dinners all over the US. See what’s on the menu in Pittsburgh.

What Brings You to the Table?
OneTable Pittsburgh is a local hub for the national program which supports Shabbat dinners for “pre-family” young adults that launched in August 2017. Pittsburgh is now one of ten “hub cities” whose mission is to empower Jewish young adults to build community by creating their own authentic Shabbat dinner experiences, with the ultimate goal of forming a lifelong Friday night practice. This program is supported by the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh’s Jewish Life and Learning Division and the Jewish Community Foundation.
Millenials are supported in creating their own authentic Shabbat dinners through an online signup platform, one-on-one coaching and “nourishment credit” in the form of gift cards to food establishments and other vendors.
Now in its third year, OneTable has supported over 100,000 seats at Shabbat dinners nationwide. The goal for OneTable Pittsburgh is 1,100 seats in its first year.
