Why are you involved with Young Adult Division and The Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh?

I’m involved with YAD because I think it’s wonderful to connect and build a community with the other young Jewish adults in the area.

Why do you think it’s important to give to The Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh?

It’s important to give and support the Federation so it can fulfill its mission of creating and supporting a Jewish community.

What’s your favorite Jewish holiday?


If you could eat one Jewish food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

My mom’s matzoh balls.

What is your most memorable Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh event?

I’ve really enjoyed Mitzvah Day.

Who’s your favorite Jewish actor and actress?

I don’t know that he’s my favorite, but I thoroughly enjoy Sacha Baron Cohen.

If you could invite any famous Jewish person to your Shabbat table, who would it be (living or deceased)?

I would invite Moses. I would love to hear the first hand account of the Passover story, wandering in the desert, and the 10 Commandments.

Have any special talents?

I love taking photographs. I have some up in my house and visitors have commented about how much they like them.

If you could be any animal, what would it be and why?

I would be a pug puppy because they are so cute!
